All the information is gathered together in the central unit. It collects the individual pieces of information from the modules, assesses them, logs changes and triggers the corresponding alarms. The connections to the operating devices and the modules are based on the NOX Bus. Only one cabling for burglary, fire detection, access controls and building control is needed. The functions are software-based, keeping them open for further expansion. With the Ethernet TCP/IP connection it is possible to configure and communicate with other applications.
The codes and authorisations are managed from the central unit. The individual alarms and sensors are configured via the central unit. By installing alarm transmission units, alarms are forwarded to the police or a security company. These devices can be connected using a standard interface to the central unit.
The integrated uninterruptable power supply bridges power outages. As a result, the entire security system functions without interruption. As protection against damage and sabotage, the casing of the central unit is fitted with an electronic anti-drilling protection.
